Advice: Prepare all questions from this google sheet, it will certainly help you during Viva
  1. 1
    Explain about your project everything
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    SimpleCode explain formula: input kya aaya → auth/validation → DB change → response/UI.

    Viva tipFunction signature + 3-4 important lines + edge case.

  2. 2
    Which is more crucial fronted or backend validation
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    SimpleValidation = input rules: required, email format, length, unique. Frontend UX, backend security — dono.

    Example

    if not email or '@' not in email:
        flash('Invalid email')
        return redirect(request.url)
    if User.query.filter_by(email=email).first():
        flash('Email taken')
Advice: I proctor is nice. He said you can disconnect the call now after the question asked rate your project. Just stay calm and be polite, try to answer the question in detail.
  1. 1
    Show your code and start demonstration.
    Times asked 1

  2. 2
    Differentiate between frontend and backend validation.
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    SimpleValidation = input rules: required, email format, length, unique. Frontend UX, backend security — dono.

    Example

    if not email or '@' not in email:
        flash('Invalid email')
        return redirect(request.url)
    if User.query.filter_by(email=email).first():
        flash('Email taken')
  3. 3
    PUT vs PATCH
    Times asked 2
    Official solution

    SimplePOST naya janam (har baar naya id). PUT poori photo replace. PATCH sticker chipkao.

    POST create, not idempotent. PUT full update, idempotent. PATCH partial.

    POST ki jagah PUT se REST semantics toot. GET typically no body.

    CRUD map: POST create, GET read, PUT/PATCH update, DELETE delete.

    Pehle 1-line definition, phir related MAD2 layer (Vue SFC / Flask route / models.py / tasks.py / Redis).

    4-line formula: input kahan se aaya, auth/validation kaunsa, DB ya cache ya Celery, kya return.

    Related mix mat karo — cache ≠ Celery, authentication ≠ authorization, v-if ≠ v-show, Beat ≠ Worker. Follow-up ke liye ek difference ready rakho.

    Example

    POST /api/venues
    PUT  /api/venues/1   {all fields}
    PATCH /api/venues/1 {only name}

    Project example: POST /api/venues create. PUT /venues/1 saari fields. PATCH sirf name.

  4. 4
    Which Database you are Using
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    SimpleSQLite file-based DB — setup easy, MAD1 ke liye perfect. Production heavy traffic pe Postgres better.

    Example

    SQLALCHEMY_DATABASE_URI = 'sqlite:///app.db'
  5. 5
    He asked examples for everything.
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    SimpleViva wrap-up hai. Short thanks + confirm submission ZIP latest hai.

  1. 1
    What is Git and github, how to sort the data we got in frontend?
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    SimpleGitHub repo open karo: commits, collaborators, README. Examiner check karta hai tumne khud kaam kiya.

    Example

    Settings → Collaborators
    Commits: regular messages, last-day dump nahi.

    Viva tipPrivate repo access pehle de do. Main branch submitted ZIP se match honi chahiye.

Advice: No
  1. 1
    - then he asked me er diagram, but I didn't had er diagram of my project so I explained my models.py file
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    SimpleProject overview: problem → roles → main entities → key flows (register, book, admin approve).

    Viva tip1 minute elevator pitch ready rakho, phir demo.

  2. 2
    - the he asked me to bring the email label email box password label and password box all in the same line
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    SimpleViva wrap-up hai. Short thanks + confirm submission ZIP latest hai.

  3. 3
    - then he asked me about primary key vs foreign key
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    SimplePrimary key row ka unique identity — usually id Integer autoincrement.

    Example

    id = db.Column(db.Integer, primary_key=True)
Advice: while giving your demo, try to explain some parts of your code too and prepare the questions from the sheet, and while explaining your demo give answers to these common questions by yourself like I explained MVC while giving my demo itself which creates a good impression
  1. 1
    - explain admin_dashboard.html and route of admin dashboard
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    SimpleCode explain formula: input kya aaya → auth/validation → DB change → response/UI.

    Viva tipFunction signature + 3-4 important lines + edge case.

  2. 2
    - jinja2 template
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    SimpleJinja2 Flask ka template engine — HTML ke andar {{ }} variables, {% %} logic.

    Example

    {% for lot in lots %}
      <li>{{ lot.name }} — {{ lot.spots }}</li>
    {% else %}
      <p>No lots</p>
    {% endfor %}
  3. 3
    - method = post, get (technical difference also)
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    SimpleGET data read/show karta hai (idempotent). POST create/submit karta hai (form).

    Example

    @app.route('/login', methods=['GET', 'POST'])
    def login():
        if request.method == 'POST':
            # validate + session
            ...
        return render_template('login.html')
  4. 4
    - what is @app.route ? and what @ means
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    Simple@app.route URL ko Python function se jodta hai. @ wala cheez decorator hai.

    @app.route('/hello/<name>', methods=['GET'])
    def hello(name):
        return f'Hello {name}'

    Decorator function ko wrap karke extra behaviour deta hai (route register, login_required).
    Endpoint generally function name. Path /hello/Ram.
    <int:id> type converter — sirf integer. Bina converter string. ID chahiye to int safer.
    methods=['POST'] only POST. Default GET.
    functools.wraps custom decorator mein original function name/docs preserve karta hai.

  5. 5
    -diff btw sqlalchemy vs flask-sqlalchemy
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    SimpleSQLAlchemy MAD1 ka common ORM. Flask-SQLAlchemy wrapper se db.Model, db.session.

    Example

    user = User(email='a@b.com')
    db.session.add(user)
    db.session.commit()
    users = User.query.filter_by(role='admin').all()
  6. 6
    -show er diagram and what are primary key and foreign key
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    SimplePrimary key row ka unique identity — usually id Integer autoincrement.

    Example

    id = db.Column(db.Integer, primary_key=True)
Advice: follow the sheets, similar questions asked, nice guys
  1. 1
    Asked me to explain my models.py and a HTML template.
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    Simplemodels.py = har table ki class: columns, PK/FK, relationships. Yeh Model layer hai.

    Suggested flow1) Classes list karo
    2) Har table ka kaam 1 line
    3) Relationships (1-M / M-M)
    4) Constraints (unique, nullable)

    Example

    class Lot(db.Model):
        id = db.Column(db.Integer, primary_key=True)
        name = db.Column(db.String(80), nullable=False)
        spots = db.relationship('Spot', backref='lot', lazy=True)
  2. 2
    Inline, Internal and External CSS. Which has more priority?
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    SimpleCSS 3 tarikon se lagti hai, priority Inline > Internal > External (same specificity pe).

    Inline: style='color:red' element pe. Highest priority, lekin reuse nahi. Debugging mushkil.
    Internal: <style> tag HTML head mein. Us page tak limited.
    External: style.css file. Large project ke liye best — ek jagah change, saari pages update.

    Example same button pe teeno:
    /* external */ .btn { color: blue; }
    /* internal */ .btn { color: green; }
    <!-- inline --> <button class='btn' style='color:red'> → red jeetega

    ID (#box) class (.btn) se strong, class element (button) se strong.
    !important sabko override karta hai — avoid karo.
    Large project: external CSS preferred.

  3. 3
    When you add a service name it should stored in uppercase in the backend.
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    SimplePehle 1-line definition, phir apne MAD1 project mein file dikhao, phir chhota example.

    Suggested flow1) Concept kya hai?
    2) Mere code mein kahan?
    3) Example / demo
    4) Edge case

    Example

    # related file: models.py / routes / template
    # formula: request → check/auth → DB → render/redirect

    Viva tipExact line yaad nahi to honestly related part dikhao. Bluff mat karo.

Advice: He is pretty chill. Go through the questions on the Google Sheets carefully. He often repeats the same questions. He tends to rush you when asking theory-related ones. Good luck :)
