Advice: Like he was nice, silently observing everything, you'll have to ask him and not wait for him if you are stuck somewhere, really clear with what he wants to see, just know your code and logic should be clear, like in the coding question, I was confused how to change the color?? that was my viva pressure and now it feels like it was easy question, and I messed up!! Try not to be scared and get tunnel visioned, relax simple things will be asked, just answer and if you cannot it's ok!! DO NOT BE SCARED like me, viva is not like an exam it's just there for them to see how much you UNDERSTAND YOUR CODE!! just do that and you'll easily PASS

  4. 4
    Put vs patch
    Times asked 1
    Official solution

    SimplePOST naya janam (har baar naya id). PUT poori photo replace. PATCH sticker chipkao.

    POST create, not idempotent. PUT full update, idempotent. PATCH partial.

    POST ki jagah PUT se REST semantics toot. GET typically no body.

    CRUD map: POST create, GET read, PUT/PATCH update, DELETE delete.

    Pehle 1-line definition, phir related MAD2 layer (Vue SFC / Flask route / models.py / tasks.py / Redis).

    4-line formula: input kahan se aaya, auth/validation kaunsa, DB ya cache ya Celery, kya return.

    Related mix mat karo — cache ≠ Celery, authentication ≠ authorization, v-if ≠ v-show, Beat ≠ Worker. Follow-up ke liye ek difference ready rakho.

    Example

    POST /api/venues
    PUT  /api/venues/1   {all fields}
    PATCH /api/venues/1 {only name}

    Project example: POST /api/venues create. PUT /venues/1 saari fields. PATCH sirf name.
